It’s Source Water Protection Week!

🏞️It’s Source Water Protection Week! This week, we’re recognizing the critical role our rivers, lakes, and aquifers play in delivering safe, reliable drinking water.

💡Central Iowa Water Works uses three sources of water to provide drinking water to our 12 Member Agencies who collectively serve more than 600,000 people and distribute nearly 22 billion gallons of water a year!

‼️This week we will share information on our sources and how we can all work together to protect our greatest asset. After all, we are Stronger Together!
